That means people of faith here aren’t just living in a city. They’re positioned in one of the most strategic places on Earth.
The Story
Change was
already here.
Long before we gathered for a Change Night, change was already happening across New York: in homes, on screens, in conversations, and in the lives of people who had made it part of their rhythm.
We’ve seen a real connection between the DNA of this city and the DNA of our spiritual family: a hunger to grow, a drive to build, and a desire to live third way. Today New York is home to some of Change Church’s deepest and largest connections.
So we started asking a simple question: What if we didn’t just come to New York periodically?
What if we created something
for New York regularly?
The Purpose
A gathering space with a sending purpose.
A collective isn’t about building a building. It’s about building people.
We don’t measure success by how many people stay in the room. We measure it by what happens when they leave, and go into their workplaces, neighborhoods, industries, and communities with greater clarity, greater courage, and greater capacity to make a difference.
Think of it as a Bible study on steroids, once a month.
What It’s Not
Not another campus.
Not another church.
Change Collective NYC is not a new Change Church campus, and we aren’t scouting for one. It’s something created intentionally for New York.
It’s simple church. No lights, no cameras, no smoke. Just the principles of God, the people of God, and the presence of God.

Collective Nights
Our heartbeat. A monthly in-person gathering on Thursday nights, with live teaching from Pastor Dharius and worship with the Change Worship team.
Collective Events
Periodic in-person experiences designed around specific needs and opportunities in our family. In 2027, these will include a Change Her event in New York City, and they could also include gatherings for couples, singles, and leaders.
Collective Communities
Ongoing spaces across the New York metro area where you can build relationships, grow in formation, and pursue shared purpose.

Strategic initiatives that contribute to the common good, human flourishing, and the well-being of the people of New York.
